The Burel Group is a French family group with 80 years of experience. We are specialists in seed drills, soil preparation and fertilizer spreaders under the brands SKY Agriculture.

The group has a leading position in France and sell throughout 45 countries.

 

The UK market is a key market for the group and we are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our team in the UK.

 

Our goal is to propose to the farmers technological solutions for the agriculture of tomorrow. Our innovative and smart solutions enable the farmers to produce in a sustainable way, focusing on fuel and fertilizers savings, regenerative agriculture, cover crops sowing, soil preservation and biodiversity.

 
This position is home based within the territory. You will be on the road to visit your customers and dealers and will be subject to visit our HQ and our Farm in Western France for sales training, customer visits, agronomy training and team building.

You will be part of our dynamic UK team.

Description du poste

Your missions:

 

Dealer development :

  • Proactive development of the dealer network
  • Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with our dealers.
  • Lead the sales plan and projects with our partners, and our marketing department.
  • Analyze potential of each area and build the business / action plans with your partners.
  • Ensure the link between the back office and UK distributors.
  • Promote our range of machinery at open days and shows.
  • Conduct and assist with training our dealers.

  

Sales

  • Actively search for prospective customers and generate new business.
  • Propose new ideas to the company
  • Build an excellent business relationship with existing and future customers (Regenerative agriculture ambassadors)
  • Join the team of our dealers to visit customers
  • Establish sales forecasts on your area

Marketing

  • Participate to UK events around the machines and the Regenerative agriculture
  • Animation of the “ambassadors”, our clients using our technology
  • Join the « farm tours » in France with groups of farmers

Profil recherché

Your profile

  • You can work with autonomy and as part of a team.
  • A « hunter » profile and willingness to create a network of dealers and farmers
  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable sales function.
  • You have excellent knowledge / interest in conservation agriculture and want to develop your skills in No tillage
  • Knowledge of modern farming practices, particularly regenerative agriculture.
  • You have strong communication skills (empathy, listening, negotiation, feedback).
  • You are customer oriented, take initiative and are a team player.
